OGO Mathematics

OGO Mathematics exam consist of scientifically crafted Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question merits one mark. No negative marking. Questions in exam will be 60% from the current class syllabus and 40% from the previous classes syllabus.

SLE is a paper based exam organised in the respective schools of the students during school hours


NLE is an online exam, conducted at schools under proctored environment by school authorities
NLE Class Toppers are selected on the basis of highest percentage and percentile, and shortest test completion time in each subject and in each class across the nation

REGISTRATION FEE - The participation fees is Rs.160 for Olympiad.

How does a student benefit by taking Orange Global Olympiad (OGO)?

Students are ranked on the basis of marks, percentage, ranks and percentile achieved. The comparative analysis determines the skillset of students and helps them achieve higher learning goals. It also provides an objective, in-depth analysis of student’s aptitude in key learning areas that are essential for success. It empowers students and helps in building self-confidence, at the same time motivating them to excel. Students are suitably awarded based on their ranks. Prizes include Trips to Singapore and Dubai, Gift cards, Laptops, iPads, iPhones, Medals and Certificates. National toppers from each class are awarded at a grand prize distribution ceremony held in Delhi, presided over by an eminent personality.

Who all are eligible to participate in OGO?
  • OGO is conducted for Classes 1 to 10 in the following subjects:
  • Astronomy, Cyber, English, Finance, Mathematics and Science.
  • OGO is conducted in Hindi for Classes 3 to 10
  • Students of Classes 3 to 8 can also participate in an audio-visual STEM Olympiad.
  • OGO is a two level examination, i.e. School Level Examination (SLE) at school level and National Level Examination (NLE) at national level.
  • Students scoring 60% and above in the SLE will qualify for the NLE
I am interested to take part in the OGO. Tell me how will I come to know about the details of the Olympiad?

The relevant information is sent to schools which are registered with OGO. In case your school is not registered with us then please tell your class teacher or the coordinator about OGO and ask him/her to register with us.

I and few of my friends are interested in taking part in OGO but our school has not yet received any information regarding the same.
What can we do?

Please mail us your name, class and complete address of your school along with name and contact details of the principal. We will send relevant information about the same to your school so that your Principal/coordinator can register your school with us and after that you will be able to participate in OGO.

What is the syllabus for OGO?

The syllabus for OGO is based on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF)

Are there any special books which the participants should refer to for the preparation?

In general, NCERT books/course books prescribed by the CBSE/ICSE/STATE BOARDS may be referred to for preparation. We also have following books/materials for OGO preparation:

  • OGO Workbooks–English, Mathematics, Science, Cyber and Astronomy (For Classes 1 to 10); Hindi (for Classes 3 to 10)
  • OGO NLE Book- Astronomy, English, Mathematics and Science (For Classes 1 to 10).
My school does not want to register with OGO, but I am very eager to participate. Can I do it on my own?

Only schools can register for the Olympiads, a student can participate through his/her school only.

I have already appeared for OGO while I was in a lower class? Can I appear again?

Yes, you can participate for the class which you are currently studying and you are eligible for the certificate/s in case you perform well and could also win scholarships.

My school has already dispatched the registration form. I am left out and I want to register myself for OGO. What should I do?

Please contact your school coordinator immediately and request to send your details along with fee to us. We will accept it if it reaches us 30 days prior to the Olympiad date.

I am going to participate for the first time. Can I get sample papers?

When are the results of OGO declared?

Results of OGO will be declared within 40 days of the exam. The hard copy of the results will be sent to the schools for onward distribution to the students. The results can also be viewed on our website.

Can I take part in more than one OGO exam?

Yes, the dates and timings of exams are different for each subject so you can participate in all the eight subjects i.e. Astronomy, Cyber, English, Finance, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and STEM.

Do I have to regularly visit your website for the latest updates about OGO activities?

We recommend you to visit our website (www.orangeeducation.in) regularly to get the updated information regarding events, practice tests, updated questions, etc.

I have cleared National Level Examination of OGO and I have come to know that I am eligible for an award. I am studying
in a different school/passed out from school and pursuing further studies. Will I come to know about the date?

Whenever we finalise the date and venue for the award ceremony, we will let you know as well as the school authorities. You can also visit the website to know more and about the latest updates and events.

I have still not received my Roll No./Admit Card/Participation Certificate. I have checked with my school authorities and
they are also not in receipt of the same. Kindly advise what to do?

Your request should be come to us through your school coordinator. Once we receive the request, we will do our best to get it to you.

We have come to know about OGO and we are interested. How do we enrol our school with you?

Please visit the website (www.orangeeducation.in) and just fill the form given under ‘Contact Us’ menu option. We will contact you and provide all the necessary assistance.

Is OGO conducted in English only?

The medium for all the subject exams is English only except for Hindi exam.

Will the exam cover all the subjects or only the subjects which we select?

No, The exam will cover the subject only. For example, the OGO MATHEMATICS will cover only mathematics.

We have less than 10 students in our school who are interested in taking part in OGO. Can we still enrol for the exam?

Considering school report’s point of view, there is no meaning of exam for less than 12 students from a class. We recommend enrolment of at least 12 students from a class.



SLE Class Toppers in each subject, in each class and in each school, are awarded Medals and Rank Certificates. Rank 1 - Gold Medal and Rank Certificate
Rank 2 - Silver Medal and Rank Certificate
Rank 3 - Bronze Medal and Rank Certificate
Rest all students are awarded SLE Participation Certificates.


The top performing student across all classes and subjects in each school is awarded a School Topper Certificate and Gift voucher worth Rs. 1000

Medals & Rank Certificates are awarded only if min. 5 students participate from a class. Must score 60% and above to qualify for Medals and Rank Certificates.
